Multiple Permanent and Fixed-Term Contract positions available in our Network Operations team! Level offered will be based on experience
The Network Operations team is responsible for the operating, monitoring, and management of all assets associated with the potable water,sewerage and recycled water networks, as well as associated plant and equipment on the Gold Coast.
We are pivotal in overseeing planned and reactive network outages along with continual improvement investigations to minimise customer impacts in providing safe drinking water supplies, recycled water supplies and sewerage collection
About your new role
We have a number of existing and newly established positions from entry level to Supervisor: Levels will be based on your experience.
- Level 3: Network Operations Operator (9 Day fortnight position, Salary : $75,977-$81,400)
- Entry-level roles focusing on network monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
- Level 4: Network Operators Officer (9 Day fortnight position, Salary : $83,280-$88,927 )
- Intermediate positions involving more complex network management tasks.
- Level 5: Network Operations Technical Officer (9 Day fortnight position,Salary: $90,807-$94,572)
- Advanced roles requiring specialised skills in network design and optimisation.
- Level 6: Supervisor Network Operations (9Day fortnight position, Salary : $97,707 - $103,981
- Senior position with leadership responsibilities and strategic oversight of network operations
We're looking for people who have:
- Knowledge and experience in water and sewerage industry along with SCADA controls systems would be an advantage, particularly in an operational environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal communication skills with experience in interacting with the public/external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise problems, think laterally, gather, and analyse information to identify possible and future issues
- Ability to work under pressure to determine the best course of action when assets fail, or customers report problems
- Experience in leading teams in a continuous operational process (Supervisor position only)
- Experience in operational data analytics, configuring and interpreting OSiPi, SAP, BI or similar (Supervisor position only)
- High quality of service delivery to internal and external customers and reacts responsively to customer expectations
- Understanding hydraulic principles is an advantage.
- Extensive ICT competency with experience in data analytics an advantage
- Enjoy working indoors and outdoors
- A desire to contribute to and join a high-performing team.
- Australian C Class Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- General Induction Construction Card (White)
- Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations or demonstrated relevant experience in Utility Network Operations
