Experienced Bookkeeper — Permanent Part-Time

We are a Robina-based residential technology company seeking an experienced, detail-focused bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day finance function.

This is a permanent part-time role, working three to four days per week. Some work from home may be negotiated once you are familiar with our systems and processes. You will also be trained in our in-house software used for client invoicing.

This is not an entry-level position. You must be able to work independently and take ownership of the role from commencement.

• Payroll processing and payday superannuation

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Accounts payable, accounts receivable and supplier payments

• Cash-flow management

• Xero maintenance and data entry

• BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement

• Month-end bookkeeping

• General ledger maintenance, journals and intercompany reconciliations

• Insurance and WorkCover renewals

• Financial recordkeeping and electronic filing across multiple entities

• Maintaining supporting Excel spreadsheets

• Liaising with our external accountant

• Assisting management with general administration

• At least five years’ bookkeeping experience

• At least five years’ Xero experience

• Strong payroll, BAS, IAS and reconciliation experience

• Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience using Apple/Mac systems helpful

• Excellent accuracy, organisation and time management

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication

• High levels of integrity, discretion and accountability

• Current driver’s licence and own vehicle

Xero accreditation, BAS agent registration and a Diploma in Bookkeeping will be highly regarded.
