Our client is a well-established private building certification consultancy based on the Gold Coast. With a team of six experienced professionals and a strong pipeline of work across Queensland and New South Wales, they're looking to add another Building Surveyor to support continued growth.

About the Role
You'll work on a broad range of commercial developments, managing projects from assessment through to certification while collaborating closely with an experienced and supportive team.
Projects include:
- Education facilities
- Multi-residential developments
- Healthcare projects
- Commercial buildings
- Mixed-use developments
Key Responsibilities
- Assess commercial building applications for compliance with the NCC and relevant legislation.
- Conduct site inspections and issue statutory certifications.
- Provide technical advice to clients, architects, builders and consultants.
- Manage projects from application through to completion.
- Liaise with councils and regulatory authorities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Work collaboratively with a close-knit team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Level 1 or Level 2 Building Surveyor registration, or be close to obtaining registration.
- Approximately 4–5 years' commercial building surveying experience.
- Experience across commercial projects such as education, healthcare, multi-residential or similar Class 2–9 buildings.
- Strong knowledge of the NCC and relevant Queensland legislation (NSW exposure is advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
